BIOGRAPHY

Natalie and Stephanie Cavey studied the violin and viola at the Royal Academy of Music in London on full scholarships. They were members of the National Children’s Orchestra, National Children’s Chamber Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, all whilst attending Wells Cathedral School as specialist musicians.

Following music college, both girls went on to enjoy great success in session music, recording & performing with established artists such as Ariana Grande, Adele, Beyonce, Celine Dion, Calvin Harris, Ellie Goudling, Rita Ora, John Newman, the Spice Girls, Noel Gallagher, Rod Stewart, Muse, Cheryl Cole, Kimberly Walsh, Susan Boyle, Emeli Sande, Boyzone, Westlife, Ronnie Wood, Tinie Tempah, Labrinth, Il Divo, Leona Lewis, Neon Jungle, Vampire Weekend, Passenger and Kanye West, to name but a few. They both also performed for a BBC1 one off special with Ariana Grande.
Natalie and Stephanie featured on Adele's album ''12'' and Noel Gallagher’s album ‘High Flying Birds’, which was recorded at Abbey Road studio, and both played in a successful music video for chart-topping ‘Dj Cassidy’ on his latest single. The recording and music video also featured the well-known singers Jessie J and Robin Thicke. Stereo Twins had the privilege of playing on the main stage for the Elle Style Awards and also for the BBC Music Awards, performying with number one DJ Calvin Harris, featuring Ellie Goulding and John Newman, at the prestigious Earls Court Arena.

Stereo Twins have toured extensively around Europe with artists including Adele, Katie Melua, Rod Stewart, Sarah Connor and Russell Watson. They perform regularly on prime-time TV shows such as the X Factor, Strictly Come Dancing, Alan Carr Chatty Man, The Graham Norton Show, Loose Woman, Alan Titchmarsh, Comic Relief, The National Television Awards, The One Show, and they also opened the Brit Awards 2013 performing with Muse. Both also featured in an hour-long episode of the nationally-screened BBC3 TV show ‘Singing With The Enemy’.

Both girls often play in a variety of acoustic & electric string groups around the world, one highlight being a performance in Spain alongside ‘Cirque Du Soleil’. In 2014, the Stereo Twins were at the Geneva Motor Show, where they performed during the high-profile unveiling of the new Ford Focus car in front of the world’s motoring media.

In 2019, the Stereo Twins was selected to perform for various matches for the FA Cup in the VIP lounge at Wembley Stadium, they also performed for the annual Comic Relief ‘Red Nose Day Gala Ball’ and also was asked to perform for a charity event which was filmed for part of an ITV2 show.
An exciting event the Stereo Twins have coming up is playing for a residency at the Wimbledon Tennis Tournament which will now be happening for 2021.
